     At this moment Stan and I are getting ready to leave for the Vaillancourt Collectors' Weekend in  Sutton, Mass. The weather is beautiful and we are looking forward to enjoying the event! We will also come home with Collectors' Weekend pieces so look for them on our web page and on Ebay!

You may have noticed that sellers on Ebay have some pieces offered lately that you may not be sure about and I would like to tell you about them.
They are, in fact ,made by Vaillancourt but do not have the quality that the ones that say,"Vaillancourt Folk Art" on the bottom. They only are marked "Vaillancourt" and are made to sell at discount stores such as Tuesday Mornings and TJ Max.These pieces are painted by the same artists at Vaillancourt but not with the same detail and then do not go through the same process of six coatings as the more expensive ones do that prevent them from becoming so easily scratched and chipped. So when purchasing these pieces buyer beware!! Always look for the" Vaillancourt Folk Art" on the bottom.      
     Stanley and I always keep our shelves stocked with a good selection of Debbees and Vaillancourts to choose from.

Debbee Thibault's American Collectibles

Debbee's Creations are truly a spirit of "Olden Days" but with a twist only the creative inventiveness and her imagination could make. Santa's riding bunnies, wacky jack o lanterns with chocolate moulds and bunnies bearing valentines. And I think the Fourth of July and Uncle Sam must have been her favorite. Her original designs are made from paper mache' and are produced in limited editions and made of paper composition. Like a finger print they are all truly unique. Pieces that will keep memories of yesterday living for generations. Very collectible increasing in value each year.
